Refunds and Security


n this privacy policy references to “we”, “us” and “our” are to the Pure Glass Company. References to “our Website” or “the Website” are to www.pureglasscompany.co.uk.


Distance Selling Regulations
Under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000, you have a right to cancel your order for any item purchased on this website for a full refund. You are entitled to a seven day "cooling off" period from the date after you receive your goods. This does not apply to items personalised or made to your specification, including various bespoke sizes non-standard finishes or colours chosen. To check if the item you are ordering is returnable please call our office on 01743 468333 before you place an order. To cancel, you can email us or write to us (see contact us for details) within seven days of delivery of your item(s), quoting your order number & product code. You must take reasonable care of the item(s) and must not use them. We can either arrange collection direct from your premises or you can bring the Item(s) to our Shrewsbury showroom but In either case, you as the customer will be expected to pay for the transport of goods back to us or from us to our suppliers; for a collection we charge the carriers charge which will not be any more than £80 from mainland UK for larger items requiring a 2 man delivery. Once the goods have arrived back with us or our suppliers,  we can issue a full refund by cheque providing the goods are in the same condition in which they were sent / as new. PLEASE NOTE: OUR PRICES MAY BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AND WE UPDATE THIS WEBSITE ON A DAILY BASIS.


 
Our refunds policy does not affect your statutory rights. However, once an order has been processed we charge a 25% handling fee on cancellation of any special / bespoke order providing that the item has not already been made or is in the process of being made. If the item has already been started then we cannot offer a refund. Any cancellations must be sent to us in writing by post or email. A "special / bespoke order" is any order which has been personalised to your specification by altering a colour or measurement on your instruction. The handling fee does not apply to the carriage charge. The handling fee does not apply to items regularly stocked by us. Please call us on 01743 468333 to check with us if unsure.

 

NOTE: if you paid for your goods with a Credit card (not Debit card) there will be a small refund charge of around 3.5%, this is the amount the Pure Glass Company is charged if you pay by Credit card. We cannot refund full Credit card payments as we do not receive the full payment, this is due to transaction fees through Protx (we receive 3.5% less than full payment).
PLEASE NOTE: All Refunds can take up to 30 days.
